Livermore Public Library is pleased to host its first College Fair in partnership with other libraries in the area. The College Fair at Livermore Public Library will take place on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at 6 p.m. at the Civic Center Library, located at 1188 S. Livermore Ave., Livermore CA 94550. Livermore Public Library is proud of its outreach efforts to connect and work with neighboring library systems to host a fair that will serve community members of all three cities. The fair will run on three consecutive days, with Dublin and San Leandro libraries hosting their events on September 30 and October 1, respectively.

Representatives from a wide range of non-profit, postsecondary institutions will be participating at all three locations. These institutions offer both academic and career focused programs. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss course offerings, admission and financial aid requirements, college life, and other pertinent information to help them in their selection process. The number of participating institutions varies by location; 22 institutions have confirmed their attendance at the Livermore Public Library event, and more are expected to attend.
