About this Event
Livermore Public Library is proud to announce the Library Card Art Contest, through which the Library’s next library card design will be chosen.
Livermore's heritage, viticulture, science and arts form a rich identity and way of life that the Library celebrates with the various library card designs that we offer. In addition to the existing spurs, grapes and Livermorium designs, the Library is looking to add a new card design representing the arts in Livermore.
This contest is open to Livermore residents of all ages. One entry per person. Entries will be accepted at all three Livermore Public Library locations during the month of June. Submissions are due by 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, 2024.
After the submission period closes, library staff will select the top ten finalists. From those ten finalists, the Livermore community will select the ultimate winner in a vote that will take place from July 17 – 31, 2024. The winner’s artwork will be printed on the Library’s newest card design.
Please visit any Livermore Public Library location or go to the Library’s website for an entry form and the complete contest rules. For more information about this program, please visit the Library’s website at library.livermoreca.gov.
